Avioniq is making the leap from research and development to the role of subcontractor for the defense industry. Orders received in the first half of 2021 amounted to SEK 25 million. Mikael Grev, CEO, sees considerable potential for growth.
After 6 years of intensive research and development, Avioniq is entering the role of subcontractor to the defense industry in earnest. In the first quarter of the year, the company introduced its revolutionary AI-based program suite for robot simulation to the market. Orders received in the first half of 2021 amounted to SEK 25 million. "Military aviation is in a crucial shift. Artificial intelligence and machine learning are becoming increasingly important. Avioniq is uniquely positioned to drive the development of Decision Support Systems forward." says Mikael Grev, CEO, Avioniq and former Fighter Pilot in the Swedish Air Force.
Avioniq was founded in 2015 by experienced Gripen pilots, computer engineers and Doctors of sensor fusion and behavioral science. The company is an innovator in advanced aircraft software systems, specializing in AI-based decision support for military pilots and flight controllers.
