Former Chief of Air Force Mats Helgesson joins the board of directors

Avioniq recruits respected leader with extensive experience from the highest level in the Swedish armed forces. Helgesson brings wide-ranging expertise and a unique personal network to the team. The company was founded in 2015 by a group of experienced Gripen pilots, computer engineers and doctors in sensor fusion and behavioural science. A unique team where cutting-edge experience in artificial intelligence (AI) goes hand in hand with many years of experience in combat aviation.In the first half of 2020 the company received a valuable addition at the board level. Mats Helgesson, former Chief of Air Force (2015-2019), is a respected leader with extensive experience from working at the highest level in the Swedish armed forces.

Mats Helgesson was elected to the board of directors on June 8, 2020 and has commenced his duties as a full board member. Helgesson is a partner in Avioniq.
